| | Some information about the folks who perform with Salmon Brook Trio
Plus! We are a varied group in age, and background, all with a love of
performing.

- Helene Rosenblatt
-
Helene has a Mus.M. in
Performance from Boston University. She performed in New York and the
Boston area as a freelance musician as well as forming and managing
several chamber music groups over the years including Ensemble di
Vento (LI NY) and Charles River Chamber Players (Boston/Cambridge in
the late 70's and early 80's), and the BLACKLEDGE Woodwind Quintet.
She was a student of William Fred Heim, James Pappoutsakis and
Christopher Krueger. In addition she attended master class with Marcel
Moyse. She actively performs in Connecticut with Blackledge, Charter
Oak Flutes, Concerto Winds and Salmon Brook Trio Plus! as well as a
number of local orchestras.
- Caroline White

Caroline taught music in the
Hartford Public Schools for many years. Originally trained as a
trumpet player, Caroline loved the cello and began studying cello and
performing as an adult. She is heavily involved with the Hartford
Music Society and performs in many orchestras and chamber music groups
in the Hartford area including the Connecticut Valley Chamber
Orchestra.

- Richard (Dick) Loomis
-
Dick earns his living playing
viola and string bass as well as tuning pianos. A resident of Western
Massachusetts, Dick heralds originally from Hawaii and was a member of
the Honolulu Symphony. Dick performs with a number of local orchestras
including the South Eastern Connecticut Orchestra and the Holyoke, MA
orchestra.
- Virginia Allen

Ginny studied as an undergraduate
at the Julliard School in New York. She later trained as a teacher for
the deaf, changed careers once again and obtained her nursing
degree.
